Daughter of the Dyaspora is a one-woman campaign to promote positive images of Africa and its diaspora. Negative portrayals of Africa, particularly in Western media, have had unfortunate impacts on the dignity, self-esteem, and general well-being of people of African descent. This campaign seeks to counter negative depictions of Africa by offering alternative representations and interpretations through social media. It also seeks to provide a cultural space where individuals can freely engage and appreciate anything that is uniquely related to Black culture in the international arena.
