I have decided cave in and do a product review. I’m an incurable product junkie, so I figure it wouldn’t hurt to use my product disasters to help other natural/afro-textured DOD’s in the world.
Here are the categories I will be using to evaluate the products (ratings from 0-10 with 0 being hate it and 10 being love it):
Sweet Essence: Does it smell fabulous or is it likely to ward off your next potential bf?
Breaking the Bank: Is it affordable for the “average” person (i.e me, the broke college student)?
Packaging: Does the box scream “buy me” or “run away” ?
Consistency/Texture: Is it clumpy or smooth and silky?
Portability: Can you carry it around and touch up before a meeting or take it with you on a trip?
Availability: Is it easy to find or will you have to go to the ends of the earth to find another bottle?
Tall Tales: Does it do what it says it will do or is the labeling completely deceptive?
